Hey! I’m Anne Walsh
Hi, Im Anne! I’m a mother of two and a provisional psychologist who is passionate about helping people better understand themselves, their experiences, and the ways these shape how they move through life.
Becoming a parent can be one of life’s most meaningful experiences, but it can also be one of the most challenging. Alongside the love and joy, parenthood can bring exhaustion, uncertainty, and emotions you weren’t expecting. It can also bring past experiences to the surface, influencing how we respond to stress, navigate relationships, and see ourselves as parents. I know firsthand that becoming a parent can be a learning experience in more ways than one!
My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and free to show up as you are — without judgment or pressure to have it all figured out. Together, we can explore how your past experiences and relationships may be influencing your present, build practical tools to navigate current challenges, and work toward the kind of life and parenthood you want for yourself.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I believe that understanding why we think, feel, and behave the way we do is an important part of change, but that insight is only the beginning. We’ll also focus on practical skills and small, meaningful steps you can put into practice in everyday life. I often incorporate between-session exercises because growth doesn’t just happen in the therapy room — it happens in the moments in between.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Together, we’ll approach your experiences with curiosity and compassion, making sense of where you’ve been, understanding where you are now, and creating a path toward where you want to go.
