Hey! I’m Cara Polujan
Hi, I’m Cara, a practicum student and mom who is passionate about perinatal mental health and supporting mothers through matrescence—the profound, identity-shifting transition of becoming and being a mother. Having navigated my own journey with postpartum depression and anxiety, I intimately understand how isolating and unexpected these struggles can feel. Pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood bring massive changes to our emotions, relationships, and sense of self. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent mom to two neurodivergent children, I also know firsthand that this season can be simultaneously chaotic, exhausting, joyful, challenging, confusing, and deeply transformative. As an IFS-informed practitioner with additional training in perinatal mental health, I offer a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your experience with curiosity and help you reconnect with yourself. My hope is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. No pretending. No having it all together. Just a place to pause, breathe, and be heard. It would be an honour to walk with you as you navigate this incredible transition.
